SECOND GENERATION

12. Alvin PRIER was born on 9 Aug 1850 in Illinois. He died on 26 Oct 1928 in Arkansas. He was buried in Hebron Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas.
Alvin Spelled his name PRIOR either by choice or default.

Alvin and his wife Emma are buried in Lonoke County and must have lived there (probably near Carlisle). They may have moved to Arkansas at the same time as Allen. It's interesting to note closeness in timing of Clarissa's and Emma's death.

Alvin is listed as having received a land patent in Arkansas in 7 September 1894 for 80 acres in Cleaburn County: Vol AR0430 Land Office Little Rock - Doc.# 7184 Misc. Doc. # 16597, Homestead Origional Part #1 W NE SEC 36 TWP 10N, R10 W 80.00 Acres.

Identifying this location supports the probability of accuracy, stories of Fred and Rosie living near Heber Springs.

He was married to Rhonda Emeline SEANEY on 6 Feb 1873 in Illinois. Rhonda Emeline SEANEY was born on 17 Sep 1857 in Illinois. She died on 28 May 1909 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Robbie and I visited Emma's grave today Jan 19, 1997. Hebron Cemetery is very near highway 13 just north of Carlyle on a state road 236. It is across the highway from the Hebron Baptist Church. We noticed two children's graves with a common headstone for Maxine and Delors PRYOR. These had the same kind of flowers as Emma's. I left a card and a message to call me. She was buried in Hebron Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas. Alvin PRIER and Rhonda Emeline SEANEY had the following children:
